Click Power Generation Systems (CPGS) Private Limited has an industrial experience of more than 64 years. The industry association with some of the top industries in varied and allied sectors such as Power Generation, Metal & Steel, Chemicals, Sugar, Food, cloth, etc.
In the year 1947 we started dealing in old and used electrical equipment and in the 1964 same year the scrap business was added to the group profile. Manual segregation and dismantling started. We started dismantling of very large and abandoned manufacturing plants and machinery as well as factories on turnkey basis. With this the business started expanding and investments were made to expand the capacity. With the expansion in the capacity the new technologies were used for manual segregation and dismantling. The base expanded and in three decades we had started achieving the momentum we planned for. We became one of the top suppliers of old and used machinery and also attained the top slot for waste and scrap business. But still our overall business was in segregate state and there was an immediate need to plan out a strategy to hold the business cohesively so as to improve the potential and increase its market value.
In the year 2007, Mr. Mohd. Farooq and Mr. Mohd. Faisal brothers have started the modernisation and streamline the business after they joined the family business and some new initiatives were taken to bring the business to the corporate showcase. Among others was the decision to separate the Waste & Scrap business and the Heavy Electrical Goods business into two separate companies thus the Waste and Scrap business was hived off into a new company and Click Power Generation Systems (CPGS) Private Limited came into existence.
